PDF Masker is a free, privacy-first web utility built to help individuals, freelancers, and businesses redact confidential information from PDF documents safely.
1. 100% Local Browser Processing
When you drag, drop, or select a PDF file, all parsing, rendering, redaction mask overlays, and file assembly operations take place exclusively inside your browser memory using WebAssembly and client-side JavaScript.
2. Zero Server Uploads or File Storage
We do not upload, transmit, copy, log, or store your PDF files on any remote server or cloud database. Your documents never leave your local device. Once you close or refresh the browser tab, all in-memory file data is permanently erased.
3. Tamper-Proof Redaction Guarantee
When using HD Tamper-Proof Flattening, masked PDF pages are converted into rasterized graphic layers. The underlying text characters and vector glyphs under redacted zones are destroyed permanently, making text extraction or recovery impossible.
4. Cookies & Analytics
We do not use advertising cookies, user profiling, or personal data sales. Minimal, anonymous aggregate performance metrics may be used solely to monitor site availability and application stability.
